Distiller for a Day Weekend

Bourbon Women Chicago is thrilled to partner with Journeymen Distillery to offer a truly unique opportunity for a hands-on experience distilling bourbon!
Start the weekend Friday night at the Welcome Reception (includes light dinner bites) at Journeyman Distillery and pick up your swag bag full of items to outfit you as a distiller. Three Oaks is located in southwestern Michigan’s Harbor Country, about 90 minutes from Chicago, Illinois.
Work at one or both of Saturday morning’s Distiller Shifts where co-owner Johanna Welter will train us to work on every aspect of the bourbon making process from grain to glass. The afternoon is free to explore Southwest Michigan’s many wineries, breweries, charming towns and natural beauty. Soak in the farm to table culture Saturday evening at Granor Farms with a farm tour and multi-course dinner crafted by Chef Abra Berens that showcases locally sourced ingredients paired with Journeyman spirits.
Invigorate your spirit Sunday morning with mindfulness and yoga before a Farewell Brunch at Viola Café, which is just minutes away and located in a restored 100-year old building.
