Snapped during the 'Rickhouse Barrel Thieving' tour at Bardstown Bourbon Co. Led through the rickhouse by our amazing tour guide, Amber, we tasted from 3 barrels. A wheated bourbon, a high rye bourbon, and a 95% rye whiskey. All 6 years old and all scheduled for release January 2023 as part of their new 'Origin' series.

Whiskey Acres Bloody Butcher bourbon release. Each of their Artisan Series bottlings leverages their unique ability to experiment with various grains grown on their farm. This limited release is distilled from Bloody Butcher corn. A corn with a deep red color. Aged at least 4 years, bottled at 95.6 proof, and non-chill filtered.

Like all releases in their Artisan Series, this Whiskey Acres Bloody Butcher possesses the core Whiskey Acres character and flavor profile while bringing an interesting twist!
