Thornton Distilling Company Grand Opening

Please join us Thursday, December 5, 2019 to celebrate our official Grand Opening on Repeal Day! We will also be celebrating our first product release, Dead Drop Pecan Whiskey. Now available for purchase in our gift shop.
Come celebrate the end of Prohibition and the revival of Illinois’ oldest standing brewery at Thornton Distilling Company.
It’s been a long road to get here and we’re just getting started! Thank you all for your continued support – we wouldn’t have made it this far without each of you.
We figured Repeal Day would be the perfect date to mark our grand opening and anniversary moving forward. Because our facility was Al Capone’s largest bootlegging production facility during Prohibition, we thought we’d celebrate like Al did during the Roaring 20’s.
The Celebration will include:
-Costume Contest – Dress in Roaring 20’s gangster/flapper attire and compete in our costume contest.
(Grand Prize for Best Dressed – $100.00)
(Runner-up: $50.00 gift card to The Well)
-Dance Party
-Live music
-Hors D’oeuvres
-Giggle Juice
-Food Truck
-Chicago Prohibition Tours will be chartering buses from the city to provide transportation to and from the event. Details and pick-up address TBA.
