More about Old Forester and Master Taster Jackie Zykan: A truly rare and distinctive occasion took place in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1870. When George Garvin Brown sealed Bourbon in a bottle for the very first time, he did so knowing it would guarantee quality and consistency for Bourbon lovers everywhere. And five generations and nearly 150 years later, the founder’s family still watches over the production of every drop of Old Forester with that same care. Read their whole story here. Jackie Zykan, Old Forester Master Taster, speaks bourbon fluently. Her vast knowledge from a decade behind the bar brings great insights but her background in Biology and Chemistry, along with CSS training and extensive work within the whisky category, give her multi-layered expertise for this brand. Jackie conducts master level trainings globally, leads the single barrel private selection program and innovative licensed expansions of the brand, as well as oversees brand drink strategy across all platforms. She has been published globally for industry insights, cocktail strategies and brand education. Serving as the face of the brand, she travels the world sharing the story of Old Forester’s production and history.
Please drink responsibly.
